Rachel and Ryan had always planned to be married at Rachel’s family’s home in Marblehead, MA. Originally, they had invited all of their family and friends. However, when COVID19 struck they had to downsize to a micro wedding. That didn’t stop them from having an amazing day though. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE the intimate vibe of micro weddings and elopements. The focus was on the couple’s love and their two families becoming one. The day was laid back and fun. It really felt like a fairytale and it was the perfect setting for one too!
The champagne was flowing after their garden ceremony and all the sudden cars full of family and friends came through the gate in a parade of signs, balloons, flower petals, and bubbles. Rachel’s mom had organized a surprise drive-by wedding celebration and it brought the bride and groom (ok, me too!) to tears. They were able to celebrate with all of their favorite people after all. My heart was full at the end of this wedding, that’s for sure. Rachel and Ryan, I am so glad you went through with your wedding this year despite the challenges. You pulled it off with style and grace and we will never forget it!
