Connors Center Dover Massachusetts Wedding Photography

I knew right away that I would really like Katrina and Shaun. It may have been Katrina’s sweet emails from Virginia describing how much she loved my work and how she just had to have me photograph her wedding day, or the fact that it was so clear just how much these two loved each other and that what they most looked forward to was officially spending the rest of their lives together. Or maybe it was everything about the first time I got to meet Katrina in person, just one month before their wedding. We sat in my studio on a mild May morning shortly after her plane landed in Boston and we talked over coffee (Katrina offered to bring Starbucks, oh I loved this girl already!). We chatted about how much we both adore our dogs and our shared obsession with flowering cherry blossoms. Katrina also talked about how much she adores Shaun and what a great guy he is and I immediately knew that I’d like him just as much as I liked her. If I didn’t already love these two from our initial long distance interactions then I absolutely did after Katrina left my studio that day. I was so excited for their wedding. The next time Katrina flew back to Massachusetts from Virginia it was with Shaun, for the big day. On the morning of their wedding I met Katrina and Shaun at The Connor’s Center where they would both get ready before meeting each other in the beautiful garden for their First Look, prior to their ceremony. Their First Look was so touching and it gave us the perfect opportunity to get some great portraits of the two of them together and also with their bridal party. After portraits we were off to Saint Patrick’s Church in Natick Massachusetts for their lovely ceremony. The newlyweds wanted to have some photos done at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA after the ceremony so their chauffeur took us to the beautiful home of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and then back to The Connor’s Center for their reception. It was such a beautiful day filled with so much love and I am so grateful that Katrina and Shaun asked me to photograph it for them. My summer would not have been complete had I missed out on the opportunity to meet this super sweet couple and capture their love. Thank you two, for everything!
