Sarah and Justin grew up just blocks apart in the beach town of Mattapoisett, MA. Before COVID19, they planned to be married at the nearby Tabor Academy. However, they had to put their plans on hold and opted for a micro ceremony at their local church this year and a big wedding next year. Following their ceremony, Justin’s parents’ hosted an even more micro, tented wedding reception in their backyard on Mattapoisett Harbor. The pair handled the change of plans so gracefully and they threw an absolutely beautiful and joyous wedding celebration. The family and friends who couldn’t be there for the ceremony or reception lined the streets with flower petals and signs and they cheered the newlyweds on as they took off in a golf cart down the street to their reception. Some even came through by boat to send their love from the harbor. The weather was great, the decor was absolutely beautiful, and the company was even better! It was such a pleasure spending the day with this big happy family and I can’t wait to do it again next year! Here are some of my favorites from their Mattapoisett Micro Wedding Photography collection.
