Kim and Joe traveled home to Massachusetts from California to spend an entire weekend camping and celebrating with friends and family. They booked out the East Boston Summer Camps at Stony Brook Conservation in Westford, MA for their wedding celebration. On Sunday they shared a private first look down by the water surrounded by the beautiful October foliage. After we did their portraits they were married by a friend in a casual outdoor ceremony in the woods.
Fortunately, they stood under the trees as they said their vows because right as the ceremony began it started to rain and it didn’t stop until the very end. Now that has to be some major good luck for these two and I’m sure they will hold onto that memory forever! Kim and Joe were completely unphased by the rain and wore huge smiles on their faces the whole way through. As I have witnessed their strong connection and just how much they absolutely adore each other I was not surprised by this at all! They were just so happy to be making their relationship official and nothing else mattered.
I went to high school with Kim (and we played basketball together!) so it was really fun seeing so many friendly faces at the wedding reception! If you look close enough you’ll even catch me in a high school group photo at the bottom of this post.
Thank you, Kim and Joe, for allowing me to be a part of your super fun wedding weekend and Congratulations to you both!
